Stay Alert and Protect Yourself from Financial Fraud
15.06.2023
Cases of personal and banking data theft have become more frequent recently. Be cautious and careful even if the fraudster strongly insists on being an employee of the Bank. Cybercriminals may contact you using the false phone number of the Bank and introduce themselves as a Bank employee, trying to fish for personal data and banking details. Please remember that ARMBUSINESSBANK employees never ask for a PIN Code, OTP and other details from customers. Another form of fraud is sending SMS running as follows: “HAYPOST”: Your package is waiting for delivery. Please pay a delivery fee of 233, 12 AMD https://posta-am.com/”/. Once you click on the link you are asked to fill in the card details: card number, validity period and the CVV code. By filling in the card details, you will receive a one-time password becoming a victim of fraud once you enter it. Having all your card details, the fraudster can attach it to Apple Pay and Google Pay accounts on his/her phone. To avoid financial losses, we strongly encourage you to be on alert and avoid clicking on any link or open file attached as you receive suspicious messages contacting “ARMBUSINESSBANK” immediately at +374 10 59 20 19. If you have become a victim of fraud, block your card promptly contacting the Bank or using “Block the Card” function of ABB Mobile app. At the same time, we would like to thank our clients for using the services of the Bank and for the high trust.
