Year 2022 at a glance reports on an upsurge in ARMBUSINESSBANK’s key financial indicators

ARMBUSINESSBANK has summed up the results of 2022, according to which the Bank has enhanced its leading positions in the banking system of Armenia for number of indicators. In pursuance of the adopted new strategy, the Bank will further expand and improve the advancement of the retail business, and the results of 2022 are the proof of the dynamic development of the Bank in this area. In 2022, the Bank recorded a growth of the Retail credit portfolio by 30,5%, thus exceeding by 2,7 times the 11.5% growth rate of Armenian banking sector, with 17,5% share in the growth of the retail loan portfolio of Armenian banks over 2022. As for Mortgage loan portfolio, the Bank achieved 66% growth in 2022, this being 2,4 times higher than the 27․4% growth rate of overall Armenian banking sector. The Bank's share in the growth of the mortgage portfolio among Armenian banks for 2022 totaled 15,3%. In 2022, ARMBUSINESSBANK CJSC improved its ranking among Armenian banks in terms of retail loan portfolio, with a share of 7,63% thus being ranked the 4th at year-end. The Bank also improved its ranking in terms of the portfolio of mortgage loans, with its share of 8,29%, ranked the 3rd in the local banking market at the end of the year. In terms of individuals’ term deposits portfolio, ARMBUSINESSBANK still leads the market, with its share of 17,06%. The Bank's portfolio of individuals’ demand deposits increased by 22,2% during the reporting year. The main focus in ARMBUSINESSBANK strategy approved for 2023-2025 is made on the pace of development and digitalization of its retail business. In pursuit of digital development path, 6 branches were closed in 2022 within the framework of branch network optimization. As for the total assets and liabilities, the Bank is still ranked the 3rd in the local banking market. In terms of legal entities’ loan portfolio, the Bank continues to be the 2nd in the market with its share of 15,23%. The Bank is also ranked the 2nd in the market of overall term deposits portfolio, with its share of 12,84%. The Bank proceeds implementing new development plans jointly with its clients and partners, demonstrating continuously advanced leadership indicators.
