ARMBUSINESSBANK hosted in its Head Office premises the 10th grade students from “Heratsi” high school economic class. During the introductory tour, the students got glimpse of the history of the Bank Head Office, symbolizing the unique image of Yerevan. The residents of Yerevan and tourists visiting the capital never walk past by this valuable architectural monument unimpressed. The edifice which is now located at Nalbandyan 48, once was a home to the Regal Palace and the Governor Treasure House and the neighbouring building housed the Ministry of Arts and Education of the First Republic. Hasmik Hovakimyan, Head of PR Unit of Communications Management Division shared some interesting historical facts and details. Further, through an inspiring, interactive session on financial literacy offered by the Head of Advertising Unit of the aforementioned Division, Ph.D. Arman Tonikyan, the students got an insight into the formal and informal tools of saving. And the students, in their turn, had an opportunity to ask several questions about the history of creation of Armenian dram, changes in the value of money over time, and investments that shall ensure future financial income.
