The results of the journalistic competition "The Best Financial and Banking Publication of the Year" have been summed up
In-depth economic analysis and high-quality information field - the Union of Banks of Armenia has summed up the results of the third journalistic competition on the topic “The Best Financial and Banking Publication of the Year”.
This year, the UBA expanded the circle of participants, providing an opportunity to participate in the competition not only for journalists, but also for research analysts and scientists.
ARMBUSINESSBANK specialists responsible for public relations were also included in the contest committee.
In parallel to the announcement of the names of the winners in different nominations, the representatives of Armenian commercial banks presented Special Prizes to the authors of the materials they liked best.
ARMBUSINESSBANK prepared gifts for all winning journalists.
The winner in the nomination "Best journalistic coverage" was the work of Hasmik Dilanyan, journalist of the Public Radio. The 2nd and 3rd places in this nomination were shared by Seda Yergnyan, journalist from the Hetq news site, and Aram Gareginyan, journalist from Sputnik Armenia news agency.
The winner in the nomination “Best Scientific Article” was the scientific article “Why did Armenian banks increase investments in government bonds?: facts from assessments at the level of banks” by Edgar Aghabekyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance of the Armenian State University of Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences and co-author Narek Karapetyan, PhD student of the Department of Finance of ASUE.
ARMBUSINESSBANK has always attached high importance to encouraging journalists covering financial and banking sector, to improving their professional skills, which will lead to impartial and professional coverage of the Armenian banking sector, informing the public about the events in this area in a generally accessible language.
